Access Control/Door Entry Maintenance

Ensure your Access Control System is in Top Condition

As experts in access control maintenance, we have extensive experience servicing a wide range of systems from leading manufacturers such as Paxton, Videx, Salto, and BPT. We work with both networked, standalone, and GSM systems to ensure optimal performance and security:

Standalone

This is the most simple type of system, common with small premises with basic requirements. Door Support can assist with supplying additional fobs or user cards, resetting units where programming cards have been lost, and fault finding.

Networked

Typically with a PC based software and online controllers, networked systems work well at larger sites such as schools, hospitals and offices, where staff need a greater degree of control and a record of events. Regular planned maintenance is recommended, for example with the checking of controllers communicating with the PC, updating of standalone handlesets and changing of batteries.

Locking

All access control systems rely on their electric locking to be working correctly, to keep unauthorised users out and to ensure that those with the right to gain access have it. Where you have a failure, Door Support can attend to repair and adjust your lock where possible, or replace only if absolutely necessary.

Door Entry Intercoms

Door Entry Intercoms

A reliable door intercom system is essential for modern buildings.

Our systems allow you to control access, communicate with visitors remotely, and enhance your property’s overall security. Whether you need a basic audio-only system or a sophisticated video intercom solution.

GSM intercoms – where an intercom panel ‘rings’ a mobile or landline phone and allows the tenant to release the door during the call – are also a popular choice where cabling needs to be minimised and a fixed handset isn’t suitable.

Our access to and familiarity with leading brands like Videx, Bell Systems, CAME BPT, and Comelit ensure that you receive the highest quality products and services.

Waferlock Shadow Card System for Door Entry

Standalone Access Control Systems

Small commercial properties or offices may require a system with simple administration but with the convenience of a proximity fob or key-code based electronic system. Standalone would be ideal.

These systems can be cheaper, and don’t require the IT infrastructure needed with more complex access structures.

One of the systems we offer is the Waferlock standalone system, which can be made up of standalone, battery-powered handlesets and can often be retrofitted to your existing doors. With this system, you can also upgrade the handlesets to work as part of the PC based e-link system in the future.

Waferlock E-link system

Networked Access Control System

Where your site requires audit trails, real-time access right updates, and central programming, a networked system is for you.

Utilising network points, the system is connected and controlled from an administrator’s PC.

A variety of electric locking methods are available, from basic magnetic locks to high security electromechanical locking, as well as customisable options such as read-in/read-out and emergency release switches.

We can provide the Waferlock E-Link online networked system, which is a flexible configuration made up of online wall readers and offline door handlesets. A PC software is used to program user fobs and cards and change system settings.
